Founded in 1958, Katz Realty Group owns and manages apartment buildings in New York City.
The company was started by Morris Katz, a Hungarian immigrant who came to the United States in the late 1920’s.
Morris owned a butcher shop in Brooklyn, NY, and started to invest in real estate later in life.
His sons, Leon and Sheldon Katz guided the business in the ensuing decades, and now the third and fourth generations lead the company.
Our buildings include classic pre-war and post-war buildings, as well as new construction.
